What is Barre? Incorporating moves at the ballet barre, this class is focused on high-rep, low-impact movements that will target your hips, core and arms. Barre offers you an excellent workout that will help your feel stronger, leaner and more toned! Emphasizing good posture and alignment is the key! Expect to have fun and experience a little bit of muscle shaking as you bring out your inner dancer 😉. No dance experience is needed! How do we learn? Pilates instruction involves many different cues to help each student maximize the experience of each exercise.☑️ Visual demonstrations….hop on the machine or mat and “show” the exercise ☑️ Kinesthetic learning is done actively by the participant as they “feel” the movement….hands-on correction from the instructor helps too!☑️ Auditory learning…lots of images and language can be used to enhance the learning of an exercise (Pilates teachers talk a lot!)
